Semi-antique Qashqai book carrier from Iran. 28x13 cms

This little bag, due to its shape, could look like a bag of salt, but due to its opening, we are more inclined to think it could be a book holder. It is not a bottle neck shaped bag as is the case in salt bags, but it is open fully lenghtwise.

Material: 100% hand-spun sheep wool and cotton in white areas

Size: 28×13 cms 

Origin: Qashqai tribe, Iran
