For this newly refurbished San Sebastian city centre flat, the owners chose a Qashqai rug, Irán, from the 1960s to go below the Charles Eames chair, for the entrance an Arab Mazidi, from the beggining of the 20th century. The kilim is a Qashqai Alandali nomads bridal kilim, from about 1950, providing an explosion of hand-woven colour and pattern in this tasteful modern interior next to the Cathedral Buen Pastor in San Sebastian.
