This 1950’s Baluch rug, meticulously woven from natural undyed wool and dyed wool. The central field has a single repeated motif alternating brown and salmon motifs. The main border is made up of eight-pointed stars. The wool is soft and has been left quite long, although some areas have lower pile. Its tones are perfect for enriching a neutral interior, giving it a touch of color and vitality, fusing tradition and modernity. This rug will transform any space into a serene and contemporary corner.

The Baloch or Baluch are an Iranian people who live mainly in the Balochistan region, located at the southeasternmost edge of the Iranian plateau, encompassing the countries of Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan. There are also Baloch diaspora communities in neighbouring regions, including in India, Turkmenistan and the Arabian Peninsula.
