An interesting semi-antique Qashqai palas kilim woven in stripes and with a creative desing in knotted technique. With the knotted technique goats, trees, zig zags, flowers and abstract motifs have been created. Some staining. All wool apart from the white stripe, which is woven in white cotton

This kilim is a “palas”, a type of kilim woven to be used as a basis for domestic activities within the nomadic community (drying vegetables, making cheese, etc.). This vintage kilim was hand-woven by a nomadic or village woman, using her own wool spun and carded by hand.
