Discover and let yourself be transported by this charming semi-antique rug from the Baluch tribe, a true rarity. Notably, it incorporates the unusual shade of blue, unconventional for Baluch tribe rugs. Each knot and design reflects its rich cultural heritage. This piece fuses history and originality, highlighting craftsmanship and innovation. The weaver has broken the symmetry of the rhomboid motifs by introducing small random elements in the areas on the periphery of the central field and two large red motifs that stand out from the rest. The “speckled” effect of the rug is called “namak fafal” or salt and pepper in Persian. It also has beautiful color changes in the blue zone called “abrash” in Turkish and “bi rang” in Persian. The wool is soft and long. Transform your space into a corner of exotic elegance with this rustic rug full of charm.
