Semi-antique Afghan kilim with an unusually bright colour palette for its origin. The design features lively tones, including an uncommon use of green in Afghan kilims, alongside undyed natural wool in black and white. The red areas show beautiful abrash, creating natural variations in tone. It is worth noting a recurring motif in the central field separating the medallions. It consists of horizontally arranged ears of grain, whose ends are shaped as bird heads.
The composition is defined by a narrow main field, framed by a strikingly wide border featuring oversized eight-point stars.
Thick and sturdy in structure, this kilim is ideal for high-traffic areas such as kitchens, hallways, or wide corridors.
