Malbands are long narrow bands used to fasten loads onto camels, mules and horses for migration. Malbands are delicatelly woven, normally reversible, woven in a warp-faced double weave, with geometric designs and animals.
This semi antique malband has been woven using natural dyed wool. It has the original wooden “buckle” or pulley. In mint condition.
