Nepal is a very special country to us. We carry it in our hearts for many reasons: we have friends there, share some of its beliefs, and love its culture, food, architecture, landscapes and, above all, its people.

That is why what is happening these days in northern Nepal feels especially close to home.

Severe flooding has caused widespread devastation, destroying homes, roads and bridges and leaving many people missing. At Nómada, we want to do our part and help the affected communities.

 

One rug, one helping hand for Nepal

Our contemporary rugs are handmade in a Fair Trade workshop in Nepal, where exceptional Himalayan wool is hand-spun and hand-carded. The designs, created by us at Nómada exclusively for our shop in San Sebastián, are brought to life by the skilled hands of Nepalese artisans.

Until SEPTEMBER 26th, we will donate 10% of every Nepali rug sold to ROKPA Euskadi, an NGO working in Nepal, to contribute to relief and emergency efforts following the floods.

By choosing one of our rugs, you are not only bringing home a unique handmade piece from Nepal. You are also helping the people of a country we care so deeply about.

Because Nepal has given us so much.
