This type of Arabic kilim is called “Shiraki” in Iran and are woven by different ethnic arab groups from Southern Iran. Normally the shirakis are badly atributed to the Qashqai tribe. Most shirakis are woven in two parts, as is the case with this example. All the dyes are natural and is in mint condition. A thick and sturdy kilim. Recommended.
