Vintage kilim woven by women from the Qashqai tribe of southern Iran. The design of this kilim is made up of horizontal bands in warm and vivid tones, some with beautiful sinuous shapes. Smaller motifs have been woven at both ends, as a border. The wool is of very good quality, shiny and it is finely woven. The weft is made of black goat wool, as can be seen in the fringes.
