Antique Turkoman Aqcha Suleiman rug from Afghanistan
Fantastic antique rug from northern Afghanistan woven by Turkoman ethnic weavers. The size is unusual as it is very square, the wool soft and silky, densely woven with a thick full pile. The composition, made up of three columns of güles, is elegant and sober. All the dyes are natural and the terracotta color is of a beauty that can only be appreciated when you see the rug in person. Recommended carpet.
