Vintage Turkman Ersari rug from Afghanistan. 288x205 cms

This rug from the Daulatabad region was woven by Ersari weavers from Afghanistan. It is woven with a large number of knots and is quite square in size, unusual for vintage rugs.m In perfect condition, with the pile intact. Sheep wool is extremely soft, and goat wool has been used for the warp. All dyes are natural.
