Carpet from the Beluch tribe of southern Iran. This vintage rug was handwoven by a nomadic or village woman, using her own hand-spun and carded wool.

This runner was woven with a small kilim strip in the central area. It was probably made to be folded in half, and sewn, to make a large sack, but it was never made and can be used as a corridor. The knot is very small, with a high density of knots.
